In this session, we will explore how team coaches can expand their practice beyond individual teams to strengthen collaboration, alignment, and collective leadership across interconnected teams and organisational systems.

About the event
Organizations today achieve results through networks of interconnected teams rather than isolated, standalone teams. Yet many leaders and team coaching approaches continue to focus primarily on improving the effectiveness of a single team. In complex environments, however, the greatest performance challenges often occur between teams - where competing priorities, unclear accountabilities, siloed thinking, and weak collaboration can limit organizational success.
This interactive session explores how team coaches can expand their practice from coaching individual teams to coaching a broader team-of-teams system. Participants will examine the unique dynamics of interconnected teams, explore common barriers to collective performance, and learn practical approaches for strengthening alignment, collaboration, stakeholder value, and shared accountability across organizational boundaries.
Participants will also gain insights into how to coach relationships, interdependencies, and collective leadership across multiple teams. Whether working with leadership teams, cross-functional groups, or large organizational systems, attendees will leave with practical tools and questions to help clients move beyond siloed performance toward greater enterprise-wide impact.
Learning Objectives:
Differentiate team coaching from team-of-teams coaching.
Identify common systemic challenges across interconnected teams.
Apply coaching approaches that strengthen collective leadership and collaboration.
Explore contracting and stakeholder considerations when coaching team-of-teams systems.
