About the event

What changes when we view team coaching not simply as a process of driving action and achieving outcomes, but as an exploration of the relationships through which teams make sense of their world and work together?

In this Team Coaching Circle session, we will explore the key premises underpinning a relational approach to team coaching and how these challenge some of the assumptions commonly associated with traditional coaching practice, including action orientation, pragmatism, and control through tools and techniques.

Relational practice offers an expanded perspective, inviting team coaches to attend to the multiple realities held by team members, the dynamics of human relationships, and the ways teams collectively create meaning. Rather than focusing exclusively on solutions, interventions, or desired outcomes, this approach encourages greater curiosity about what emerges between people and how relationships shape the team's experience and possibilities for change.

Through provocations, reflective questions, small-group discussions, and large-group Q&A, participants will have the opportunity to examine their own assumptions and explore what a relational perspective might open up in their practice.
