Using Transactional Analysis in Team Coaching: Navigating Conflict Through Communication
Transactional Analysis (TA) is a theory of group and individual dynamics that provides insight into working with conflict and challenges. It is applicable within teams, across groups in an organization, and in relationships between managers and staff.
In this session, you will be introduced to foundational TA concepts and their practical applications in coaching teams or individuals. The topics covered will include:
Insights into group and individual boundaries
The PAC model for exploring communication strategies
Enhancing empathy using the Adult Ego state framework
Initial reflections on Game theory and actionable options
About the Speaker:

Jason Brennan is a Certified Transactional Analyst, holds a BA in Psychoanalysis, and is an honorary lifetime member of the UCD Psychological Society. A psychotherapist, coach, and author with over 25 years of experience in mental health, coaching, and development, he has supported countless individuals and teams in their growth—personally, professionally, and relationally. Jason has also served on the boards of numerous government and corporate coaching panels.
He has brought together his experiences in a book, co-written with mental health advocate Brent Pope. The book is called “WIN: Proven Strategies for Success in Sports, Life and Mental Health”. You can listen to Jason's OK Everyday podcast on Spotify.
